An Easter Message from the Rector - Mon., April 13, 2020
April 13, 2020, 3:21 PM

Greetings dear sisters and brothers:

I hope that everyone had a happy and blessed Resurrection Day.   We celebrate Easter for the next several weeks until Sunday May 31st when Pentecost begins.

As we continue to be physically separated in this very difficult and painful time, it is good to remember that we are one in the Spirit with Christ and one another, and we will not allow anything or anyone to separate us from Christ.

As we continue to find ways to stay connected, each parishioner has been placed in a small group for fellowship. [A separate e-mail will follow with the groupings.]  There are thirteen groups and each will decide how and when to meet and the content of their meetings.  The one thing that is asked is that prayer becomes a primary function of the group.   You may name your group and select a leader or rotate leaders to make contact for meetings using the information.

Within another day, I will forward to you a listing of suggestions for music to add to your existing repertoire for listening.   This is another way of spending quiet time with the Lord, and I hope you will find it enjoyable.

Please continue to take all precautions for your safety and that of others while you look to God who loves us and promises that he will never leave us.     We pray for the world, society, and community as we acknowledge our dependence on God.
